Nepal death toll rises to 5,844
The death toll from the devastating earthquake that sacudió Nepal amounted to 5,844, the Nepalese government announced Thursday.
Other 11,175 were injured in the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that hit the country last Saturday, the Ministry of Interior in his Twitter account said.
The balance is still provisional, as there are numerous affected villages that have not yet been able to access life-saving equipment.
